Welcome to Evening Star Childcare Service NFP, where faith and innovation meet to nurture young minds and hearts.

Located in the heart of Chicago’s South Side, we are a fully licensed, faith based childcare and early learning program with a trusted reputation for excellence, community service, and educational innovation spanning more than two decades.

Founded by Executive Director Atisi Riddle, a lifelong educator and child advocate, Evening Star goes beyond childcare. It is a hub for growth, learning, and outreach that supports families locally and globally.

At Evening Star, we serve children from 6 weeks to 12 years old, guiding them through each developmental stage with care that touches the mind, body, and spirit.

Our curriculum blends Faith-based values with STEM education, preparing children to think critically, explore creatively, and grow faithfully.

We believe every child deserves access to high quality learning that builds confidence and curiosity. Whether your child is taking their first steps, preparing for Pre K, or exploring science and technology after school, you will find a warm, structured environment where every child belongs and every family feels supported.

• El Gibbor Women of Innovation School (Dar es Salaam, Tanzania) – International sister program empowering girls in technology and leadership.
